Ok, so Oxford has bin collections every day, another bad nights sleep and a busy and long day ahead of us.
A breakfast inside of us we headed for Woodstock as April wanted to visit Blenheim Palace today. The drive there wasn’t bad and the palace was outstandingly beautiful.
We we purchased a gardens only ticket as there wouldn’t have been enough time to visit the palace as well, but we were not upset, the gardens were truly awe inspiring. Firstly we got totally lost in a maze and then Tobes was allowed to run riot in an adventure playground.
We we then decided to walk around the gardens, which led us to this,
And a gorgeous rose garden.
And if if those weren’t enough we stumbled across this “cascade”
after the walk and a brief sit for a drink we headed off for our next destination, Kingsbury water park. Epically failed at the no Motorways or major A roads on this leg.
The site seems very quiet (after Oxfords) and we’re looking forward to seeing the beauties of Birmingham tomorrow.
