And so it begins…

We’ve noticed that because we go on holiday quite a lot we forget where we’ve been. So we’ve decided to keep a blog so we don’t forget.

So far we’ve been to

  • West Wittering where we started out in our first family tent – no Toby as yet.
  • Wellington Country Park – we’ve been there loads of times, once a year. We’ve even had an accident (new sunroof for the caravan- photo below) but we can’t stop going back!
  • Red Shoot, New Forest – this was a sardine site, so I think we came home early
  • Adgestone, on the Isle of Wight we have visited this site three times, once without Toby, once when April was Preganant with Toby and then when Toby was a baby

See why we need the blog? I’m not even half way there

  • Chertsey – Lovely Noise from the M4 and Heathrow Flight path.
  • Horsley – Very nice, we went with April’s Mum, and Sister and co
  • Crowborough – again very nice – lovely views and surrounding areas, we even looked at house prices!
  • Verwood, Newforest – site was ok, first outing with the fleetwood (above), discovered we could manage without the awning which was great
  • Fishery Creek, Hayling Island – Again a lovely site and a nice area.

I forgot the horrible site nr Romsey with the regimental white lines. I think it was so bad I blanked it out – we even had our washing up liquid stolen!

We’re now on our third caravan after our tent which has been through our friend Dawn and has now moved onto Paul, Mel, Jordan, Kieran, Charlie and Ethan.

Our first caravan was a Bailey Scorpio from Michael Jordans in Guildford for £1500, it leaked like a sieve – however we managed to sell it on eBay for nearly £2000 after we had had it for a few holidays. We then moved onto April’s sister’s Lunar Sunbeam again for £1500. We only went away a few times then had the uplifting holiday in Wellingtons (see below).

Whoops!

Then we went to the lovely Sea Haven Caravan Sales where we met our lovely Fleetwood Colchester. 5 berth, twin axle, microwave and of course the light-up, green velvet lined drinks cabinet!
